Theories
does anyone else think the cat from season 4 might have something to do with the salisbury steak from last episode?
These are mostly just questions, that i've got rumbling in my head, and I wanna ask about the show
Question #1: Is the whole story of Rick & Morty about letting go of the past and embracing the future, cuz this is the feeling I'm getting from past episodes and the newer season.
Question #2: If Rick knows he's a character living in a cartoon, does that mean there was a chance has once been in our world before, if so do you think there is a live-action version of Rick & Morty
Question #3: Do you think Evil Morty was Rick Prime's Morty and he was the reason he became evil and destroyed the central finite curve to go to a world where he isn't the smartest man.
Question #4: Why don't Rick just travel back in time to save his wife and daughter, he's capable of interdimensional travel, why not time travel, either he has done that before and failed or time travel works differently in different dimensions (Maybe that's the reason for his "no time shenanigans" thing)
Theory #5: Speaking of time travel, does anyone age? or is that one of the consequence for Rick's time shenanigans, either that or cartoon logic.
Theory #6: Do you think the reason Rick Prime killed Rick's family was cuz, this Rick was happy and Prime was jealousy that a version of him was actually happy.
Angelo speaks Russian is an adults novel written by Irish author. Alex elmoson for Angelo Soviet Union.
This is a bit of a theory I had for a little bit
What if Space eth and regular Beth are actually BOTH CLONES?
Now this might not be true but just something ice bene thinking of
I mean I thought Rick Prime was Earth c137 (I swear I thought it before either was revealed)
Plus let's be honest Rick would probably lie to both Beth's about saying which one is which (Just look at the entire decoy episode)
Plus I think it would be an incredible plot twist that none of the two are the real Beth and are both clones
Rick always knew what Wubba lubba dub dub means. He was only using it as a catchphrase because he was in great pain and needed help
Rick Sanchez has mind upload technology as seen in several episodes, but this raises a doubt.
In real life the mind upload makes a copy of your consciousness, you don't really change your body in practically it's just a copy of you that walks around, following the logic of the real life mind upload means that the Rick we see in first season long dead?
Mr. Meeseeks, Most innocent-looking character I had ever seen. Then he goes f***ing nuts! I did my share of research and this is what I found. I believe that Mr. Meeseeks' exist in their own frame of time, and that frame of time is extremely accelerated for us. Due to this rapid time acceleration, Mr. M will experience pain as his body ages and grows lesions and hairs because his body is so used to his time running at its normal rate on its normal planet. It says, and I quote, "Look at me, I'm Mr. Meeseeks. I have been trying to help Jerry for two days, an eternity in Meeseeks time, and nothing works, I fear the worst." This shows that a Meeseeks has its own frame of time that its body applies to. Please, put opinions in the comments.
Just to clarify she's dead because inthe season five premiere Nimbus told that his young daughter Beth died in an explosion caused by another Rick. He also said Beth died to. so he went to a told where she's not dead
Okay, so I had watched this show for a second time now and I think I have my lore straight. But I have many questions.
1. if Rick, after murdering other Rick and helping to build the cidadel, just went to a random dimension where he left Beth and Dianne is dead, where is then their original Rick?
2. Why didn’t Rick just chose a reality where his wife lives?
3. Is she dead in every reality? If not, doesn’t that then affect great proportion of ricks sinical character?
4. For how long exactly has been Rick living with the family? cuz at the start of the season Beth acts as if Rick had just got back couple days ago, but in other episodes we can see that Rick has memories of baby Morty.
Evil Morty is a Rick . we have believed this for years now.
He is a Rick hell bent on killing All RICKS EVERYWHERE . including
Himself. He may return from ''outside the curve" with a Diana...
He could very well be the Rick we saw in the Origen story who LOST HISWIFE AND KID. while "our Rick" C137 was the one with short hair who dropped the bomb . see our science and geek blog #tinylotuscult blog
remember few years ago people thinks that evil morty is the original morty of rick but after the ending of the current season we all know what really happened spoiler ( original beth and her mother died) before the beginning of the story that means that summer and morty doesn't exist at the first place because the original beth of rick die young so there's no way that kid beth can be pregnant at that age now we are going to evil morty theory there are possible things happen before rick finally comes to morty universe(what i mean the morty we always see) 1. maybe rick was teleported to random universe so there a high chance that first morty the rick ever meet is evil morty 2. maybe rick was disappointed to evil morty because evil morty shows a sign of bad things that's why rick decided to teleport again and find a sane morty 3. After that evil morty have strong grudge to rick after rick leaves him all of things i said is only a theory at the last episode of the current season evil morty said that rick was the center of the universe around him so that there a high chance that if evil morty transported to another universe rick will still become the center of that universe as we know there are different universe in rick and morty world that only explains that every different universe rick was the center what i mean about that rick have greatly influence the events in those universe
Would all of the Multiverses have come into creation at the same moment and wouldn’t all Ricks and Morties be the same age?
As Rick and Marty jump from universe to universe wouldn’t time go on moving forward at the same pace in all universes? So the time rick spent fighting with bird man and hunting down other Ricks, wouldn’t the lives of the other members of his family in other universes have lived their life and be older by the time Rick got back.
For example, Pre-portal rick was approached by a Rick that had portal tech and then presumably bombed Beth and Diane which motivated Rick-137 to develope the portal gun.
My best explanation is that cartoons don’t age like on The Simpsons so in effect cartoons live indefinitely and time is not moving forward when it comes to the story unless its a flashback to when they were younger.
does the finale of season 5 finally solved the evil morty was the original morty of rick theory?

So the theories about Morty being young Rick are confirmed wrong. We see a memory of rick of him as a child in his bedroom so that's that. I judt wanted to mentjon that thanks
Rick has no problem bailing on Beth and Summer (including leaving them to die) even though we've seen plenty of times that he cares about them in their own rights. But he always takes Morty with him when skipping dimensions and hates the idea of something bad happening to him when it's very easy to get a new Morty.Rick is a complete bastard, yet this Morty is special to him. Why? My theory is that our Morty is the only person left from Rick's original dimension , that's why he's so protective of him.
Given that in current dimension he's occupying Rick's been gone for longer than Morty's been alive and yet he has memories of Morty as a baby, I think for whatever reason he left his baby grandson in a different dimension, most likely where lil Morty died unnoticed, and then went to live somewhere else. There was apparently a cut scene where little Summer noticed Rick sneaking into Morty's crib and went to alarm her parents- it's a possible moment when this switch could've happened. Then, before the first episode Rick decided to go live in a dimension where he left his real grandson in. Him being responsible for Evil Morty being the way he is could still work- he would just be one of many Mortys Rick lived with for 14 years before the first episode, instead of the Rick's original.
I know it is pretty complicated, but Rick has plenty of complicated things about him XD
Honestly, much like most of MatPat's Rick and Morty theories I think it has a lot of weight as extreme precedent for being correct, and I really, REALLY hope it ends up being true!
Thoughts?
I think Rick wasn't there for most of Morty's childhood and that Rick wanted to get back his lost time with Morty
