"A Pain in the Back" is the tenth and final episode of Season 1 of Rick and Morty: The Anime. It aired on October 17, 2024 on Adult Swim and was released on Max a day later. It was written and directed by Takashi Sano. Toonami will air a Japanese Language Version two days later. It is rated TV-14 LV.

- The stinger is a Bookend of opening battle of "Girl Who Manipulates Time".
- Though the only difference is it finally explains how Elle first met Morty.
- Beth appears to still be alive in the Simulation when her granddaughter Maria is a teenager. Though, it is unknown if this is actually Beth or Space Beth.
- Jerry doesn't appear during the time that Maria is all grown up, so he may have passed away.
- In celebration of Rick and Morty: The Anime, Pocket Mortys' weekly updates coincided with new episodes, including new avatars for players to collect. With the release of this episode came Anime Summer as an avatar, plus Dealership Morty and Dad Morty to catch.
