A Trip to ‘Spongebob Universe Show’ was released on 17 August 2017. It is a non-canonical mini episode of Rick and Morty. It is an improvised Vulture-animated short, passed off as a crossover episode between Rick and Morty and the Nickelodeon cartoon, SpongeBob SquarePants.
Plot[]
Rick and Morty are at Spongebob's house. Rick asks Morty what where are they. Morty says they are i Spongebob Universe Unoverse Show to which Rick replies: "Why?" Morty responds that Vulture Website Company wants them there. Rick then ask Morty what do they do. Morty decides to ask Spongebob who stands near by. Spongebob only responds that it's him - Spongebob. Rick suggests they go somewhere in Spongebob World whe noone has ever gotten. They board Rick's submarine and come across Spongedome. They see line of million Sponge creatures. There is also aa arguing Couple. Rick and Morty hover over them and Rick suggests they leave the Submarine but suddenly Summer is revealed to be in back seat. She is tied up. Morty admits he tied her up. Rick asks why Mort tied up his sister. Story flashbacks to 1976 when orty tied up Summer. Summer asks if they untie her so she could go deep sea swimming. Rick wants to use untying ray but it can make some damge if she doesn't hold stil. Summer is scared and keeps wiggling so Rick can't use the ray. Namor shows up and starts talking with Summer. He introduces himself as cool Aquaman. Regular Aquaman swims near by and hears his name and comes near. Rick then suggests Morty they go collecting Sponges and sell them to people.
