BugAnne is a member of The Defiance and a friend of Rick who fought in The Battle of Blood Ridge, and whom he briefly dated in "Hot Rick."
Biography[]
In "Rickternal Friendshine of the Spotless Mort", BugAnne is seen fighting with Rick, Birdperson and his friends in The Battle of Blood Ridge against the Galactic Federation after Rick decides to go into Birdperson's memories to revive him.
In "Rickfending Your Mort", BugAnne appears via a clip played an Observer where she is seen attending a Defiance meeting led by Birdperson.
In "Valkyrick", BugAnne attends The Defiance's meeting at their headquarters on planning to assassinate the Gromflomite Queen as its members could not come up with a proper plan. She is later seen when Rick takes Space Beth back to the headquarters via portal gun and recognizes BugAnne.
She appears at Rick and Space Beth's ceremony giving them as well as Birdperson and Birddaughter medals for defeating Fantabulous and stopping his plan of transforming Gromflomites into Ultromflomites as she expresses interest in Rick, even though Space Beth tells him not to hook up with her or any of her co-workers immediately afterwards.
In "Hot Rick", it is revealed that BugAnne and Rick have started dating presumably after the events of "Valkyrick" and wants the latter to attend her family's coliseum tournament at her home planet. Rick is reluctant to do so and both BugAnne and him believe that his memories of Diane are holding him back. At the Smith Residence, Rick then uses a machine that transfers his memories of Diane out of his mind and into a giant artificially grown brain so he can become more open with BugAnne.
During the family coliseum tournament, Rick meets BugAnne's family, including her mother. While talking to BugAnne's parents, Rick casually admits to them he and BugAnne have been hooking up for the past few months. BugAnne's parents then send Rick into a duel with Jackpoo, BugAnne's ex-boyfriend from high school, due to violating their culture's mating rituals as BugAnne angrily criticizes Rick for not bothering to do any research on her culture during the time they have been together.
However after fighting Jackpoo within the coliseum for a while, Rick abandons the battle and uses his portal gun to go to the Smith Residence and put Memory Diane back into his mind. Later on after Rick helped Memory Rick and Memory Diane stay together within their own memory simulation and ejects them into space, Rick checks his phone and BugAnne presumably has decided to end her relationship with Rick as she did not respond to his text to her.
