Dr. Dogballs is the founder of Earth World. He loved Earth and all of its quirks, although had never actually visted the planet.
Biography[]
Dr. Dogballs never visited Earth, but somehow heard of it, leading to a great appreciation for the planet. He thusly founded a theme park based on Earth, appropriately named Earth World. His lack of intricate knowledge of Earth meant the park had many inaccuracies and did not reflect what Earth was really like. It was also incredibly dangerous and the rides could inflict serious injuries on the park's patrons.
Dr. Dogballs was caught watching animal pornography, which made the board of directors overseeing Earth World fire him and chain him up in the tunnels underneath the park. The old park was blocked off and a new Earth World, much safer than the original, was built. Dr. Dogballs spent his time in captivity creating replicas of Earth celebrities and historical figures with enlarged heads as mascots for the new park. Rick Sanchez visited this new version of the park with Morty, Summer and Jerry, tracked down Dr. Dogballs and freed him from his chains since he wanted to see the old Earth World once again.
After the group tried some rides in the old Earth World and Rick left the park, Dr. Dogballs revealed his secret plans to Summer and Jerry: he would destroy the new Earth World with his mascots acting as mind-controlled zombies. However, after he activated them, Dr. Dogballs' creations turned on him and brutally devoured him, which he welcomed, ultimately dying with a smile on his face.
Although Dr. Dogballs died, his plan seemed to work and Earth World was left in flames with most of its customers being killed by the mascots.
Appearance[]
Dr. Dogballs was an alien with turquoise-coloured skin and light red eyes, wearing a white suit with a black vest and glasses. He had a jellyfish-like appearance at the top of his head. He also has a small fin resembling a mustache and three small tentacles which look like a chinstrap beard.
Personality[]
Dr. Dogballs was described as a "mad genius" by Rick Sanchez. Dr. Dogballs does appear to be very intelligent, as he created his own army of mascots designed after cultural figures from Earth. These mascots are fully sentient beings that can be controlled by a device of his own making, causing them to become monstrous killers. He also apparently built the first Earth World by himself, which, despite its crude construction, would still take some level of skill to accomplish.
When Rick, Summer and Jerry first met him, Dr. Dogballs was very excited to see real humans. This demonstrates his great love for Earth, even the mundane things like property taxes. His love for Earth and everything on it appears to be universal, as many of the attractions in the old Earth WOrld are modelled after tragedies, diseases and illnesses. This suggests Dr. Dogballs either doesn't understand these concepts are bad for humans or views all of Earth with the same level of fascination, regardless of it being good or bad.
Dr. Dogballs also enjoys animal pornography, which got him fired in the past. He doesn't appear to be ashamed of this peculiar kink, but strangely draws the line at humans having sex with animals.
