Easter Bunnies are giant creatures that closely related to the Easter holiday. They appear in the episode "The Last Temptation of Jerry".
Biography[]
Easter Bunnies first appear in "The Last Temptation of Jerry", as Jerry accidentally kills a giant Easter Bunny when driving on the road and takes its corpse back at the Smith Residence. Jerry then starts to act like a rabbit and Rick analyzes him while finding out that Jerry is transforming into an Easter Bunny. Rick and Morty go to Germany to try to learn more about Easter Bunnies and potentially find a cure for Jerry while Beth will watch over him as Rick trapped him in a giant crystal. Rick and Morty find out that climate change caused an Easter Bunny to unfreeze it from the ice and learn that the Easter Bunnies originate from the Andromeda Galaxy. Meanwhile, Jerry starts to transform into an Easter Bunny and escapes from the Smith Residence.
Rick and Morty learn that the Easter Bunnies are sent out to many planets by the Easter Aliens through eggs and that when a person kills an Easter Bunny, they will transform into an Easter Bunny. The Easter Bunnies have the power to make people have sex in order to overpopulate their planets and collapse them. Meanwhile, Jerry starts to force people into have sex with each other but is captured by the Christ Troopers, who hate sex and want to destroy all Easter Bunnies and eggs. Its general, Reinhard Kincaid, and the Christ Troopers encounter Rick and Morty at Easter Island reveals that Jesus Christ was a Christ Trooper who was sent to Earth to stop the Easter Bunny but was crucified before he could do so. Jerry then transforms into an Easter Bunny after seeing Morty in danger and kills the Christ Troopers while fleeing through the city to force people into having sex each other, which will cause the destruction of Earth.
Jerry then attempts to get Beth to have sex with him at the Smith Residence but Beth makes Jerry come to his senses and holds him down. Rick and Morty return to their house with the Easter Egg and in order to extract the Easter Bunny DNA from Jerry and return him back to normal through a device Rick built. A giant Easter Alien tries to stop them by landing into their home as Rick, Morty, Jerry, and Beth all get transformed into Easter Bunnies one by one before the Easter Alien transforms into one due to them touching the machine. The Easter Alien attempts to kill them all but Reinhard Kincaid arrives to extract the Easter Bunny DNA from the Easter Alien and killing the alien while sealing the DNA in a newly patched up egg.

- The Easter Bunnies in some way are a reference to Chemical A0-3959X.91 – 15 (or Black Liquid) from Prometheus as both have the ability to create life as well as destroy it (the Black Liquid can restructure DNA of lifeforms to create new life while also cleansing planets of unwanted life while Easter Bunnies cause people to have sex which can lead to overpopulation collapse). Additionally they're both sealed in special containers to prevent them from spreading out of control.
