"Fighting Mother" is the second episode from Rick and Morty: The Anime. It aired on August 22, 2024 on Adult Swim and was released on Max a day later. Toonami will air a Japanese Language Version two days later. It is rated TV-14 LV.

Trivia[]
- Fighting Mother is the shortest episode in the entire series, with a runtime of about 17 minutes, as opposed to the normal 21-22 minutes in an average episode. As a result, the short Rick and Morty vs. Genocider was aired after the episode premiered on Adult Swim, so that the schedule wouldn't go off-the-clock.
- Tammy is shown to be physically pregnant with Birddaughter, marking the first confirmed on-screen proof that she is her mother outside a hidden memory that she couldn't recall.
- In celebration of Rick and Morty: The Anime, Pocket Mortys' weekly updates coincided with new episodes, including new avatars for players to collect. With the release of this episode came Anime Tammy as an avatar, plus Little Morty and Jet Morty to catch.
