Jesus Christ is the central figure of Christianity who appears as a Story Train character in the episodes "Never Ricking Morty" and "Full Meta Jackrick".
Biography[]
This version of Jesus is based on the religious figure found in the Christian Bible. Whilst, he seems to possess the same power of his Biblical counterpart, as well as many more not found within the book. He remains unique due to the fact that he's aware of his existence as a purely fictional interpretation.
Jesus first appears in the episode "Never Ricking Morty" when Story Train Rick reveals that he is his personal savior after being surrounded by an alternate version of Evil Morty and his army as Rick and Story Train Morty both pray and summon him which stops the Story Train and drains its power. Jesus shows his muscular physique causing Evil Morty and his army to surrender and drop to their knees. Story Lord confronts Jesus as Story Train Rick and Morty escape from him. At the end, Story Lord and Jesus Christ have a conversation of the etymology of Yahweh, as the latter decides to escape the Story Train by summoning magic blood which short-circuits and derails the Story Train.
Jesus appears in the episode "Full Meta Jackrick" and is summoned by Previous Leon within the Meta Reality who in turn summons Story Lord. Jesus attacks Rick and Morty but is betrayed by Story Lord and is trapped into a "previously on" loop by Previous Leon. His previously loop shows him flirting with Mary at a bar and discovering that she is a prostitute, getting crucified and waking up realizing that he can't die, rejecting to work for Napoleon Bonaparte, fighting a sea monster and killing Dracula, becoming a billionaire entrepreneur and attempting to resurrect Mary using a technological suit, asking a witch to make him normal and getting struck by lightning, and being fed pudding at a hospital by a nurse also named Mary. In the outside world, Jesus is affected by venom from the loop, killing him.
Appearance[]
Jesus' appearance seems to stem from His stereotypical appearance from both religious paintings and interpretations found within pop culture. As such, He wears robes, which cover His incredibly muscular body, as well as fair skin, long flowing hair and a beard. This Jesus was introduced into a story by Rick, so it could be assumed His appearance is also based on how Rick interprets Jesus.
