The King of the Sun is the unnamed former ruler of the Sun who appears in the episode "A Rick in King Mortur's Mort".

The King of the Sun is a humanoid with a golden crown with red and green pearls, long brown hair, brown eyebrows, a beard and mustache, and a long nose. He also wears a light orange and white cape, dark brown armor with shoulder pads and chest plate, a brown long sleeve shirt underneath, and brown and silver gloves. He also wears brown pants and dark brown boots.
Biography[]
The King of the Sun is first seen challenging Morty into a duel when Morty decides not to go through a ceremony to become a knight but is is then defeated by him when the latter uses an AI sword. Morty then says how he does not want to become the king since he and Rick simply want to leave but the King gives him the Sun Specter and commits suicide to make Morty the new king of the Sun.
