Meanwhile...
At the house, Morty let's out a scream of dismay. Rick rushes to his room and alarmingly asks if the findledink Rick was keeping in the basement had gotten out and bitten him. Momentarily confused, Morty explains that the internet was down when he has to work on essay about wildlife that is due the next day.
Rick reassures him that that won't be a problem since real-life experience would be the best way to get information anyway, and pulls out his portal gun.
The two portal to an alien world and find a large, round, pink creature eating plant life. Though Rick doesn't know what it is, he tells Morty to take a picture of him with the creature. Morty is hesitant to get close since they don't know if it's safe, but Rick tells him not to be a prude and to just take the picture.
Morty takes a picture but Rick repeatedly tells him to not only take more photos, but to also come closer. The flashing from the camera bothers the creature and Morty, who was a little too close, gets swallowed.
Rick jokingly says that at least they know the creature is camera shy for Morty's essay, to which Morty can only make muffled sounds from inside its mouth. Rick dully pulls out a knife saying he's always got to do everything.
