Ice-T revealing his true form to Rick.
Ice-T (also known as Tracy Lauren Marrow), is a well-known human rapper on Earth, who is actually an ageless wandering alien from the dawn of time known as Water-T. While uniting the Alphabetrians and Numbericons, he became Magma-T, King of Alphanumbericon.
Biography[]
Before the events of "Get Schwifty", Ice-T's life on Earth can be assumed to have been fairly similar to the real world version of Ice-T, in which he was a famous rapper.
After a Cromulon falls to Earth, Ice-T is the sole survivor of a catastrophe at the Grammys that kills all of Earth's (good) musical artists (although the Geomitron Ice Cube also survived). Upon hearing of Ice-T's survival The President orders that he be brought to Area 51 to help impress the giant head. Though he does not arrive in time to quell the head before Rick Sanchez can, he does appear before Earth is set to perform on Planet Music.
After giving a poor effort in composing a song to save the earth Ice-T reveals his true self to Rick. Ice explains that he is actually an ancient alien from the dawn of time who was exiled from his homeworld of Alphabetrium, due to his intense apathy of everything. Since this time he has drifted from world to world, not caring about anyone or anything. Rick tries to reason with Ice-T that he can't live without purpose forever, but Ice is unmoved and flies away from the earth to avoid its imminent destruction should Rick fail.
Ice-T is relieved of his exile and become Water-T.
After a rogue nuclear launch the Cromulons decide to fire a deadly plasma ray directly at the stage, intending to destroy the earth. At the last moment Ice-T flies in front of the ray and deflects it from the earth with his body, saving the world. As his body breaks apart under the ray he tells Rick that he was finally inspired to care from him, and his stalling allows The President and Morty Smith to reach the stage and sing their song. After the world is saved, Ice-T returns to Alphabetrium, where word of his sacrifice has spread. Back on Alphabetrium Ice-T meets with the world's elders, which include his father. Agreeing that his actions on earth have shown he has changed, his exile is lifted. He regains his true form as Water-T. At this moment their world comes under attack from the Numbericons and in the ensuing fray his father is killed by falling debris. After dying in Ice T's arms and apologizing for exiling him, a vengeful Ice T picks up two pistols and charges outside ready to "crunch the numbers."
Water-T reappears in the Season 7 episode "Rise of the Numbericons: The Movie" as he travels to Earth with Lithium-P to get Mr. Goldenfold to translate the "I" of Harmony and save Alphabetrium. However, he and Mr. Goldenfold resent each other as the latter was Water-T's math teacher and never turned in any homework in class. They along with Morty travel in Lithium-P's ship, the Glyph Jumper to escape Sinistar-7 and the Numbericons who attacks them. While deciphering the "I" of Harmony, Mr. Goldenfold reveals that he helped Water-T become a successful music artist by using a 4/4 time signature beat to help keep the time of his songs. Water-T and his group along with Sinistar-7 find and crash land on E-10 and they are invited to the Googas Ewok-party as he bickers with Sinistar-7. The next morning, Water-T goes after Sinistar-7 who stole the "I" of Harmony.
It is revealed by Mr. Goldenfold that Water-T did not recognize him or math in his acceptance speech at the 1991 Grammy Awards, costing Goldenfold a new math wing for the high school. While sad to hear that, Morty convinces Goldenfold to help Water-T. Water-T tries to stop and fight Sinistar-7 with the "I" of Harmony but after a while, they both have sex as the "I" of Harmony shows them the true origins of their races. However, Water-T and his group is then captured by Lord Dread Nought and the Numbericons. Water-T reveals to Morty and Mr. Goldenfold why he didn't thank math at the Grammys as Magma-Q called him out for using math for his album and accused himself of only caring about himself. Water-T turns into his previous form Ice-T to free himself, Morty, Mr. Goldenfold, and Lithium-P as they travel on the new Glyph Jumper Extreme repaired by the Googas to stop Infinity from destroying Alphabetrium.
Water-T realizes that Morty was right and how letters and numbers are the same and unites with everyone to stop Infinity. Water-T uses the power of hip-hop to rally the Alphabetrians and Numbericons to attack Infinity as the force ghost of Magma-Q transforms Water-T into Magma-T. Magma-T mentions how he grabbed the "I" of Harmony before they left E-10 and Magma-T kills Infinity with the relic as it transforms into a large golden gun and he makes out with Sinistar-7. Magma-T shoots Infinity in the dick and the latter explodes and dies. With the battle over, Magma-T and Sinistar-7 consummate their new relationship and unites the Alphabretrians and Numbericons together as a new era for letters and numbers begins. At Harry Herpson High School, Magma-T finishes his past math homework and Mr. Goldenfold happily grades it, despite giving it an F. At the end, Magma-T and Sinistar-7 agrees to help Ice Cube to save his home planet in a new movie called "Magma-T & Ice Cube: Challenge of the Geomitrons".
Appearance[]
As a human, Ice-T has the basic form of a famous rapper wearing a gun chain and black clothes.
In his natural form, Water-T is a large capital T composed entirely of water. Before his return to Alphabetrium he was long imprisoned in the form of a spike of ice and took the name Ice-T.
His Ice-T form was shown to be spectacularly resistant, deflecting a blast from a plasma ray strong enough to annihilate the earth. This durability might explain why he survived the catastrophe at the Grammys. Ice-T was also an impressive shapeshifter, which he used to blend into the worlds he inhabited along his travels.
In his current form, Magma-T is a large capital T composed entirely of magma.
Relationships[]
Sinistar-7[]
At first their relationship was terrible, but when they both landed on planet E-10, their relationship gradually began to improve. After defeating Infinity, they fully fell in love with each other and became King and Queen of Alphanumbericon.

Trivia[]
- Dan Harmon voices Ice-T due to some complex parody rules that the production had to go by: fair-use parody rules essentially allow cartoons to create parodies of celebrities without the need for permission. The possibility of getting Ice-T to voice himself in "Get Schwifty" had been raised, but doing so would have in turn obliged the production to ask Ice-T's permission to be parodied. Fearing he would say no and thus the entire parody would be ruined, the production elected to have Harmon perform an impression. Despite this, Ice-T later learned about the parody while the episode was in production, and being a fan of Rick and Morty expressed interest in voicing himself, though he was ultimately unable due to being on tour in Europe. Ice-T would ultimately voice his animated version's father, Magma-Q, in "Rise of the Numbericons: The Movie".[1]
