Hey Yazzie, it's been a while, hope you've been well! I just wanted to let you know that I'll be taking over as the Wiki Manager from Charlie. As such, feel free to reach out to me about anything you would otherwise use Zendesk for.
I also wanted to let you know that the UCP migrations are starting back up again. I made a more general announcement about this here, but I want to make sure that you, as the admin, are also aware that this is happening again. Apart from the obvious software change that entails, this will also require some changes to, among others, the main page, as there are some elements on there that we know will break on UCP, such as the poll and rss tags. I'll be around to help fix these things, but I just already wanted to alert you of the upcoming change.
If you have any questions about any of the above or anything else relating to this wiki or Fandom, just drop me a message!
I was wondering what your thoughts were on re-structuring the episode pages, similar to those of South Park / American Dad Wiki. I'd lead the project, just don't want for there to be dramatic page changes without an explination.
I don't especially prefer the South Park wiki or American Dad format of splitting the information into extra pages. It doesn't feel necessary. For this wiki anyway. Our episode pages are of adequate length after all. Splitting sections off into their own pages seems a bit much.
This is my own opinion of course. What have others said?
I've noticed that many sections of the page, that aren't actual of value to the story or the series, such as trivia, have taken somewhat long lengths. As the show grows and more 'meta-level' references and trivia are added, they'll need their own pages. There are other ways to do it, such that all the info is one page, but I think tabbing it out would be a better way to go.
I think that can be solved by trimming out extraneous "trivia." I think people have the bad habit of including information that really shouldn't be counted as such... But tabbing it doesn't sound bad either.
Hello Yazzy, I've got a bit of a problem with the article on Newartsdesign, which is written by the artist. To me it appears to merely be an advertisement for that person's designs on RedBubble. We don't have articles on any other independent artist that make R&M stuff, as it doesn't really pertain to the show. If we let this artist/article stand, then should we allow every other independent artist that makes stuff with R&M on it to make articles about everything they sell online? I would rather we take the article and all affiliated images down.
No, you're right. It was something I had been meaning to look it into later since I was dubious of it's autheticity as well. As far as this wiki is concerned I believe only actual liscensed, supported by the creators, and official merch should be recorded. And... that one doesn't seem to be it.
Hi! I was thinking about what to name the intelligent snakes in the latest episode, and wanted your input on the matter. I'm not sure whether to call them "Snakes", "Space Snakes", "Alien Snakes", "Sentient Snakes", or what. What do you think?
Hello. As you can recall by looking at the wiki recent edits, we have another online vandal on the loose. A user by the name of sonicmasterjoe has been vandalizing character pages such as jerry smith and evil Morty. Please ban this user.
Hi! It seems that you're usually the one to add images to galleries? I was wondering if you could add some to the Look Who's Purging Now gallery, because it's quite empty at this moment. And maybe also to the last 3 episodes of Season 3? Thank you!
