The Morty Village was a western-style town created and inhabited by Morty clones. It was located on an asteroid near the ruins of The Citadel.
History[]
Prior to its destruction, The Citadel had a Morty-cloning operation, where clones of Morty Smith were created and assigned to different Ricks throughout the Central Finite Curve. After The Citadel was destroyed and portal travellers were accidentally sent back to their dimension of origin by Rick C-137, these Morty clones were left stranded near the outskirts of The Citadel's ruins. They subsequently formed a community much like the Mortytown located on The Citadel.
One night, the town was attacked by a gang of cloned Ricks, who kidnapped several Mortys and shot Homesteader Rick to death. Homesteader Rick swore revenge and went to attack the Rick clones and was joined by Arcade Morty and Doc Morty, who were successful in rescuing their friends, albeit with Homesteader Rick and Doc Morty dying in the process. After they were rescued, Arcade Morty decided all the Mortys should stand on their own two feet and abandon their nature of always huddling together in communities. Each Morty was then dropped at a different planet to start a new life.
Appearance[]
The Morty Village appeared to be built from recycled scrap taken from the wreckage of The Citadel. All of the buildings were very shabby in appearance and were laid out in two rows, creating a spacious main street in-between them. The arcade was a large spaceship that had simply been re-fitted with several arcade machines. Throughout the town, large pieces of debris, left over from The Citadel's destruction, are lying on the ground or stuck directly into it.
