Solar Opposites is an American adult animated sci-fi comedy on Hulu created by Justin Roiland and Mike McMahan. As both Solar Opposites and Rick and Morty are both co-created by Justin Roiland as well as Rick and Morty writer Mike McMahan, they share a deep connection with each other in many regards, such as writing, art style, characterization, jokes, sci-fi concepts, etc.

- In the episode "The Matter Transfer Array", Yumyulack and Jesse discussed their bullying problem at James Earl Jones High School. A poster on the wall in the background read "Schwifty Live Jazz", in reference to the episode "Get Schwifty".
- In the episode "The Quantum Ring", Korvo went to a casting agency, where there was a bunch of headshots of various people. One of which was a photo of a kid who looked like a younger version of Morty Smith.
- In the episode "The P.A.T.R.I.C.I.A. Device", among the wreckage of the burning neighborhood, where was a shattered photo of Summer Smith.

- It has even been suggested that Solar Opposites takes place in the same multiverse as Rick and Morty. However, due to a licensing issue of both shows being owned by different companies, they legally can't do much crossing over for the time being.
