Supernova's opinion on Million Ants' abilities as a lover vs. those of Alan Rails was said when she was in an angry argument with Alan. They may have been her true feelings, or she may have just said it to hurt him.
Sentient Life: Supernova did not give Million Ants either life or sentience. He outright says to her that he was "a sentient colony of ants when you came to me," meaning that he was ALREADY both alive and sentient. Also, "taking it away in the blink of an eye" consisted of her crushing Million Ants' queen, after which the colony fell apart; not some special separate power that she has.
