Torsos were a genetically engineered subspecies of Spaghetti People. They were created by Rick Sanchez under the request of Morty and Madame President, to create more suicide spaghetti.
Description[]
The Torsos have mostly the same biology as Spaghetti People, including the fact their organs turn into spaghetti after committing suicide. They have a brain and internal motor functions, but other than that, they’re just boneless torsos with limited movements and no intelligence. They’re also programmed to always stab themselves to death upon being given a sharp object. Their spaghetti is considered inferior to the ones produced by normal people.
History[]
Madame President had turned 41-Kepler B into a depressing dystopia to make her citizens kill themselves and produce spaghetti. Morty suggested trying less unethical options to get spaghetti. After the clones idea failed, Rick resorted to creating a subspecies of Spaghetti People which naturally killed themselves: the Torsos.
An automatic factory was built where Torsos would be given sharp objects and immediately stab themselves, producing spaghetti with ease. However, the factory was invaded by two protester groups: A group of aliens who thought the new spaghetti was inferior, and a group of people against the slaughter of torsos. The two groups met, had a fight and activated the explosives strapped to their bodies, destroying the factory and killing all of the remaining torsos.
